Melanie C & Emma Bunton's FULL Broadway Inspired Duet! LISTEN HERE!!

| Filed under: Melanie CMusic MinuteEmma BuntonPerezTV

Oh goody spicy gumdrops!

We recently previewed a one minute snippet of Melanie C.'s baby-sweet duet with Emma Bunton, and now we present the entire, broadway ballad for your listening enjoyment!

Lend your ears to Mel and Emma's delightful rendition of I Know Him So Well, from the short lived, 1980s musical Chess (above).

The song's full version definitely exemplifies the two Spice's vocal talents far better than the previous teaser, and we are getting all a-teary eyed after listening to the ladies lament over some silly man.

Super souped to listen to the REST of Sporty Spice's theater-based new album Stages, which shimmies onto the world's stage this september!

All 5 of the Spice Girls look great 10+ years later… somehow other artists can't pull this off. Awesome to see some of the girls performing together again. The Closing Ceremonies at the Olympics were just amazing!

I am a fan of the Spice Girls. And they were always good about singing songs that were in their range. Obviously, someone from the Spice camp wrote you a check because this version of the song is downright awful. You've obviously never heard the original cast recording or the amazing version by Whitney and Cissy Houston because this completely pales in comparison. They don't have the voices for Broadway music and the fact that Mel C is putting out and entire album of Broadway tunes scares me. She tends to scream more than she sings. Again, I like the Spice Girls and completely dug Mel C's first solo album, but they should stick to what they're good at and this isn't it. There was just a phenomenal production of Chess performed here and I played the snippet of this version for the director and he laughed out loud at how completely awful it was. Oh well.

Re: Scorpio – A: I don't think they are trying to be as good as the originals. Melanie C is putting out the album as a homage to songs that have impacted her life through the years.
B: You mention her first album ~ as so many "fans" do. Are you aware of her other 4? Have you listened to them? Her musical range is very diverse and she can cover pop to dance to rock to ballads.
I think the two of them sound wonderful together.

Re: Scorpio – Sorry scorpio, your comment lacks in technical support, none of your comments explain why they didn´t do it well, because they did it. They nailed every note, there´s nothing wrong wtih their version. Your just a pseudo-intellectual trying to sound smart by insult people, and the feeling I have for people like you is pity.
