Winter Twitter is coming.

Amidst the fiery tweets of Rihanna and Joan Rivers, Kelly Osbourne has chosen to ally with Joan!

But before we get into the nitty gritty of the current battle scene, let's brief you all on what's gone down so far.

Joan caught Rih's interview with Oprah, and after seeing Rihanna confess she still had love for Chris Brown, Joan tweeted "Idiot! Now it's MY turn to slap her."

But RiRi wasn't gonna taking that razor sharp tweet sitting down! So she responded with her own dirty words and said, "wow u really do get slow when you're old huh? slap on some diapers."

And it didn't end there!! Joan continued the harsh back and forth by saying, "Honey, everyone knows: If he hit you once, he’ll hit you again. Read the statistics. PS – Love to have you on Fashion Police!"

So having caught wind of her co-star's Twitter war, Kelly O came to Joan's defense.

Seemingly rolling her eyes at RiRi's response to Joan's commentary on domestic abuse, KoKo tweeted:

Such a sticky situation!!!

Obviously Joan is trying to reconstruct some peace with her olive branch. And that's beautiful!

What really seemed the most shocking wasn't the "joke" exactly, but seeing Joan, who is an entertainment industry pioneer for women strength, call another woman an "idiot" for being honest in a personal, sensitive situation.

You know we've all said things we wish we could take back, though. So that being said, we love them all and would HIGHLY enjoy a special episode of E!'s Fashion Police with all them together and laughing!

    I dont understand why everyone is making such a big deal out of nothing! She said pretty clearly that she still loves him because he was her first love but that she would not get with him again, never did she say they where back together. Geez! It's her life and she can do with it as she pleases.

    Now I see why Joans husband committed suicide.. 2 problems with Joan. 1 with Kelly. Joan, your daughter got beat to shreds by a boyfriend.. you shouldn't be making domestic violence jokes. And you're calling someone an idiot when YOU CHOSE to look the way you do. AFTER ALL THE PLASTIC SURGERY, you look like an ugly stiff face mutt. And you're calling someone dumb?     I don't get why people are being so accepting of this rude ignorance. Rihanna is not going back to chris brown. She said they are friends and she can't help but admit she still gets that gut feeling and still loves him. What's wrong with her forgiving him. They're not getting back together.
    So why the fuck is everyone so bitter and negative about her honesty? Respect that she can admit this, she is smart enough to know there is no future between them, but to keep it as friends and hinder her feelings from a distance. I don't get whats the big deal.

    I agree with Joan; even if not the way she said it. Rihanna did not look very bright saying that she is still in love with Chris Brown, he beat the crap out of her. When i was young I thought I loved my first boyfriend very much even though he was a jerk, but looking back I realize I the time I did not love myself or I would not have let someone treat me so poorly, and when you don't love yourself you can't love anyone else. I am guessing that one day Rihanna is going to regret that interview very much.

She shouldn't be condemned for being honest with herself. She did nothing wrong and in the end it will help her heal and get over him

    Ok wtf as this got to do with Kelly Osbourne and joan rivers its not there decion to choose what happens in rihanna's life even though i dont agree with her still liking chris brown for what he did. To me all chris brown is in my opinion is a total utter loser and poof , plus a scum bag and i hope he rots in hell for abusing and dissing rihanna because she deserves better than that pile of trash , he makes me really sick for what he as done to her.

    Kelly should have kept herself out of this. Joan, paved the way for female COMICS! She didn't pave a damn thing for Rihanna! Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle, Whitney Houston, even Mary J. Blige, they paved the way for Rihanna. Joan Rivers had nothing to do with it. There were opinionated ladies before Joan Rivers, apples and oranges. Kelly AND Joan need to keep their mouths shut.

    I see both sides. My first BF will always have a special place in my heart no matter how much he was a jerk…He never hit me, but I seriously took abuse in other ways through his taking advantage of me for my money, car and being really possessive…especially when he was drunk which was a lot. Still, he's my first love and I still love him because he'll always be a friend. It's so much better now than it was then. Also, it was Oprah…Everyone cries it out with Oprah. Madonna cried, Angelina cried. She can make the iciest queen cry with a simple direct question. I think Joan was right, even though she said it in entirely the wrong way…But hey, that's Joan for ya. And for Rihanna to think dissing her age will phase the indestructible Joan Rivers…Think again. She's the unsinkable Molly Brown of show business.
