Can YOU Sing??? These Folks Can!

| Filed under: Can YOU Sing???Ed Sheeran

We weren't sure what response we would get for our latest "Can You Sing?" cover competition.

We LOVE Ed Sheeran and have deep affection for his song Kiss Me. And, despite that the stellar tune is not a single or massive worldwide hit - yet - the covers came pouring in and we set a new record!!!!!!!

We received more submissions for this contest than any other selection before!!!

Love! Love! Love!

And the first place winners are…

The Lite Werk! They had us from the very beginning of their video, when they introduced their cover, through the end of the song! Beautiful take on the song! Such a pretty duet! Check it out above!

The second place honor goes to xJasonMusicx, whom like the first place winners grabbed us instantly and held us tightly from start to finish! Jason turned Ed's strummer into a piano ballad stunner! Those chords cut into our heart like a knife!

Check out his exquisite take below! AND…

Congrats also to….

Micah Gartenberg and his friends Olivia and Sophie. There is something sweet and innocent about watching a trio so young covering a love song like this one! Their is a sweet innocence that is so endearing. Plus he's playing a ukelele! Check out their cover below!

Jackson Harris sure is pretty! And his cover is just as pretty! It's got a great John Mayer vibe to it! And he gets bonus points for the Lego house and playing both piano and guitar! Check out his cover below!

Anna Klein and her two friends slayed with their beautiful three part harmonies and Wilson Phillips-sounding cover of the song! Check it out below!

Simone LeCesne turned Kiss Me into a Beyonce song. And somehow it works!!! Really well!!! Check it out below!

And Sam Fischer went for more of an Adele vibe for his take on the song. Lovely! Lovely! Check it out below!

"We received more submissions for this contest than any other selection before!!!" Really? Tell us exactly how many, homo. I suspect that what you've shared here is all you got. And tell us something else: How is your shitty gay-club CD selling? Must be totally in the toilet; you realize that no one on Amazon can still be bothered to review it? There is little that's worse in life to inspire such huge apathy that NO ONE cares enough to write. And how are your juvenile butt-dart targets IM5 doing? Going nowhere, you say? You're such a failure, Mario.

All these were really good. I really liked the Anna Klein one. Amazing harmonies. And Sam Fischer. What a voice! I'm so happy to hear that this one got the most submissions :) Ed deserves it.
