We got SO excited when we heard whisperings that Timba and Missy would be collaborating on a Drake-helmed Aaliyah posthumous album, but then reps from BOTH parties denied any involvement in the project… and we felt BURNED!
So this news is like healing salve to our wounds!
Missy has kept it musically mellow since the release of 2005's smash success Cookbook, and these new tracks hint at her elusive next album Bloc Party, which MAY be released before the year is out.
And to prepare, we will immerse ourselves in so much ass-shaking FREAK, it's gonna get earth-quakey shaky up in here!
