Could America’s original sweetheart be making her way back to TV??
While season two of The X Factor is getting ready for its big premiere in two weeks, one of the show’s previous mentors is moving on to the next!
Of course, Paula Abdul’s presence will definitely be missed on XF this season, but it seems she won’t stay away from TV for long!
Reportedly, Mz. Abdul recently had lunch at 30 Rock with former Today show producer, Marc Victor!
Victor is now head of Tomorrow Productions, a new division of NBC, and has confirmed that the two were indeed talking about developing a show centered around her!
A friend of Abdul’s revealed:
"Paula would love to get back on TV again. She knows the value of TV. Long before Jennifer Lopez or Mariah [Carey] or Britney [Spears], Paula knew the future would be being in people's living rooms once or twice a week. She is hoping this turns into something solid very soon and can't wait to get to return to television."
Hmm…interesting, very interesting! Could it be her very own talk show?!?!
Supposedly, a number of talent has been meeting up with Marc, but Paula has quickly risen to the top of his priority list!
TV is most definitely missing some Abdul and we’d love to see Paula back on our screens once again!
