Two Women Found Dead Under Blood Letters Reading 'Free Pussy Riot'

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooLegal MattersSad Sad

This is NOT the way to go about freeing the three imprisoned members of the punk band Pussy Riot!

Two female dead bodies were discovered in Kazan, Russia underneath the words "Free Pussy Riot," which was "presumably" written in blood.

While Vladimir Putin enthusiasts have been quick to blame the band's supporters, one detective on the case cautioned that the killer "was trying to avoid suspicion" by misleading the police.

The murderer could have very well been a deranged supporter of Pussy Riot who felt this is the only way to get across the message, but there have been FAR too many others who have resorted to non-violent protests and petitions.

It's pretty important that this isolated incident doesn't characterize the entire movement because that would simply not be true. The band's own attorney has called the "psychopathic" actions "horrible" and "a horrendous provocation."

If the killer's goal was to divert suspicion, his plan is unfortunately working. The Russian media has been claiming that Pussy Riot supporters "committed" or "inspired" the double homicide of the 76 and 38-year-old women.

So sad, senseless and detrimental to the international movement hoping to correct the unjustified punishment that the band received.

I smell a set-up. Sounds just to good to be true for the Russian government. They are trying to demonize the band. I hope the public doesn't fall for this.

I wonder… will they release the names of the women found "dead"? Will any of their citizens know the women? This sounds like fiction made up by a desparate government.
