Kellan Lutz Reveals His Initial PASS On Twilight Role: Story 'Didn't Make Sense'

Good thing he didn't stick to his instincts!

Kellan Lutz of Twilight fame almost passed on the iconic films because of his first impression with screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg's first draft based off of the Stephenie Meyer novels.

In a recent interview, he revealed:

“I didn’t like the script. How scary would a glimmering vampire really be? It just doesn’t make sense."

Think of how horrible it would've been if he hadn't said yes and decided to pass on the role!

We're SO glad that Lutz took a leap of faith despite his misgivings with the logic of the screenplay.

He must be, too. As he's definitely made a shizz load of benjamins since the teenage vampires took over the world.

We're guessing that moment was one of the few times he was glad he wasn't Twi-right.

Ha!

    Almost passed on Twilight??? Please, it will be his last acting job he ever gets. Horrible weird looking actor.

    Twilight movies suck and they barely feature him. I think this will be his last acting part too. Unless they hire him to star in "the David hasselhoff story".
