Poor LeAnn. What has happened to her face? Did she have plastic surgery to try and hang on the that cheater she married? So sad that women do this kind of shit. As far as the tweet thing goes, I think LeAnn has gone cray cray.

Sometimes marriages are stagnant and you don't realize it until you fall in love with someone else. It is not good, but it happens - and sometimes it happens to good people. Most people, at that point, either try to fix their marriage, or end it. The fact is that in most divorces one of the parties has already fallen for someone else. They are not all bad people - just human.

Re: rosebud99 – Well, mistakes are on a sliding scale ie: "sorry I forgot to return your umbrella yesterday" is more like a "1" whereas "being married and having an affair with someone who's also married and has children" is a "10". I just can't get behind people who screw around on their spouse, and with LeAnn & Eddie, they both cheated on their spouses and it's the kids who have to pay the price for the parent's example. The decent thing to do is to separate from your partner when you realize that you're feeling interest in other people, not skulk around for months/years having clandestine meetings in cheap hotels. That's just my moral yardstick but is obviously not everyone's. At the end of the day, we all have to live with our own conscience and our own decisions and adultery (particularly where children are involved) is just a line I would never cross and can't respect those who do.

But do you think that someone can be unfaithful, learn from it, grow, and become a better person, or do you subscribe to the 'once a cheater, always a cheater' philosophy? Personally, I think it depends on the person - there are those who will cheat for kicks and always will, and there are those who make mistakes and learn from them.

Will you please tell me (seriously) what Eddie Cibrian sees in LeAnn? She seems to be nothing but possibly sexually-accomplished. Try as I might to find her attrractive, I see only an ugly face. LeAnn is not simply not pretty; she's homely. Her morals are looser than curls on a rainy day! What on earth can any man find attractive about her? Right now, she's in therapy to learn "coping skills." She has a LOT to learn! Anyone who would go to court over two ordinary women who were giving her a rough time HAS to be nutty.
If I were Eddie, I would leave her for someone halfway attractive and not nearly so wound up tight. He's a nice-looking guy who could find another woman easily. Also, LeAnn is not doing his reputation any favors. He must be as bad as she is. If I were Eddie, I would leave her in a flash!

Re: rosebud99 – I'm not a fan of the phrase "once a cheater always a cheater" mostly because it's such a quippy line. Rather, I think that adultery is such a serious moral line to cross that it gives a good indicator as to someone's overall sense of values & judgement. When you cross that line, one of the "lessons" you learn is that it's okay to put your family at risk, and values, decency and concern for others aside if it means you get what you want. Adultery like Eddie & LeAnn's wasn't a one-night "oops" fling but rather a long term, secretive relationship that could have been stopped at any time by either one of them but they didn't. If things hit a rough spot between them, they've both shown/learned that one possibility for them is to look outside the relationship because it "worked" for them in the past.

Also, do you think it would matter to a jury — civil or criminal — that it was LeAnn Rimes who initiated the action by making the first move, i.e. by making the phone call? Would the jury consider that aggression on the part of LeAnn?
