This is heavily photoshopped. He has aged poorly, due to his excessive smoking habit. His wrinkles are prominent, especially if you see him in action on TV. His character on TVD is so damn annoying, a whiny baby.

Re: skye89 – His Eyes are actually that bright sometimes when you see him in interviews and in person. On DVD there change under certain conditions, a lot of scenes are shot in the dark and his eyes change a lot with his mood, like when he is passionate they get darker. On piercing light blue eyes like that the change is more noticeable with the mood change then it would be on dark eyes. One thing i do know he is actually more beautifull in person, he has the most gorgeous smile.
