Not only are people saying it was done in poor taste, critics are calling Bieber irresponsible, accusing him of taking his role as an influential member of society for granted.

Clearly this is the first time Bieber has ever held a gun. Case in point….any responsible gun owner knows that there are some very specific things you have to process when handling a firearm:
1. Never point a gun at anything you do not intend to destroy.
2. ALWAYS assume a gun is loaded, even if you yourself checked that it is not.
3. NEVER have your finger on the trigger, always on the frame, unless you are ready to fire the weapon at your target and have your sites aligned.
4. ALWAYS consider what is behind and beyond your target.
Everything that is occurring here is wrong, unsafe, and unacceptable. And I'm a gun owner with real world, extensive experience. Poor form Mr. Bieber. Poor form.
I am not a fan of Bieber's music, but I do respect him as a person because I think he has worked very hard for what he has. This was obviously just a joke. People need to learn to back off and start living their own life instead of judging others.
