What what WHAT?!
It seems the elusive hacker group Anonymous is accusing Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee and her manager Andrew Lurie of preventing a witness from coming forward with evidence of child pornography!!
The actual allegations concerning Lee were made by British Liberal Democrat MP John Hemming, involving an Evanescence fan forum called EvThreads where allll kinds of creepy sh*t was being posted, including:
"drugs offences that have been expressly admitted by the alleged perpetrators, [images of] sexual offences against a physically disabled male minor and cartoons with pre-teens in lawful poses but with sexualised captions, including sexual activity with animals and one caption regarding a toddler consuming human faeces."
According to Hemming, Lee's lawyers had made one EvThreads user Sam Smith sign a contract stating he wouldn't report any offenses seen on the site, thus preventing him from potentially helping the possible victims featured in the site's disturbing material.
Now, we're sure Mz. Amy wasn't deliberately trying to protect the privacy of child pornographers or anything like that, but this whole sitch is SUPER shady…
But, thankfully, the f*cked up forum is no longer operational. PHEW.
