Eva Longoria Delivers AMAZING Speech At DNC

Eva Longoria spoke at the Democratic National Convention tonight, and gurl killed it!

The Desperate Housewives star, who also serves as Barack Obama's campaign co-chair, focused on education and taxes.

She told the Charlotte crowd how her family was less fortunate but hard-working and committed to her college education. She said:

"Just like our President and First Lady, I took out loans to pay for school. I changed oil in a mechanic's shop, I flipped burgers at Wendy's, I taught aerobics, and I worked on campus to pay those loans back. Like a lot of you, I did whatever it took and, four years later, I got my degree."

And after talking about how far she had come, Eva then went in for the kill, pointing out that Obama has cut taxes several times for those who need it. She said:

"The Eva Longoria who worked at Wendy's flipping burgers, she needed a tax break. But the Eva Longoria who works on movie sets does not."

The crowd agreed, giving the Eva Longoria who delivered that line a standing ovation!

Tell it, gurl!

    Did you listen to her speech???? because I am "pretty sure" she said she earned a four year degree…… Maybe I am wrong but to me that would mean she is educated. Unless are definition of education is different, but the current definition of education is as followed. The process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, esp. at a school or university: "a new system of public education". Only a "MORON" wouldn't know this.

    Wow, lots of great speeches at the DNC today, including this one. I actually looked her up on Wikipedia afterwards. Guess she went back for her masters recently. Just because someone is an actor doesn't make them stupid. Stop with the stereotyping and hate. Go Eva!

    How desperate can a president be to start appointing Hollywood's elite to positions so he can pander more.

    I am SOOOOO over these celebrities telling us who to vote for. They are filthy rich and they are trying to act like they are like me. No you are not. I clean my own house, fill my own car and work 70 hrs a week AND I PAY LOTS OF TAXES!

    SHUT UP and go pretend you are someone else. That is what you do for a job!

    "DESPERATION" Housewives. Is she Stumping for the Bursar's office of Federal Student Aid or Barack Obama? America was built by her friend 'Amanda'! I would re-elect Boss Hog after that cheap shot biased speech about what exactly I don't know. We have regressed, not moved forward. And even if Romney wins or Obama wins, it doesn't matter, as we are going to regress even further. Neither the RNC or the DNC is willing to tell the truth about our financial standings. $1.5 quadrillion in derivatives debt? Where is the speech about what really matters?

    One can get a degree and still be a FOOL, and Longoria is a FOOL. Her 15 minutes are up, and I never let someone who's paid way too much to pretend to tell me who I should vote for. The Dems have nothing but emotion to run on because Obama has accomplished nothing but increasing the debt. So shut up, Longoria. You're a vapid FOOL.
