Kevin Hart Rags On KStew, R-Patz, Drake, AND Breezy In The Opening Monologue!
Talk about going after anybody without actually going after anybody!
We applaud host Kevin Hart for mentioning controversial celebrities but his opening monologue was a lot of bark without much bite!
He played mediator for feuding celebs Drake and Chris Brown, gave mad props to Frank Ocean for coming out, and took shots at Mama Snooki and her new baby boy!
The biggest dramz was "will he or won't he" with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson… well, he DID, but we won't spoil what he said.

Kevin's effort was NOBLE. I hate the fact that comedians are notorious for taking cheap shots at celebrity problems no matter how serious they are and I'm so glad that Kevin found a way to poke some fun at Kristen while also speaking to Twilight fans that IT HAPPENED AND ITS OVER. Kevin, you are my new hero.

I give him so much credit. He could have easily did what eveyother host would've and ripped every celeb whose messed up a new one but he handled it so well! The sad thing is a lot of people are going to say he wasn't funny because he didn't spend his opening speech making fun of all the easy targets. I think he found a great way to address the elephant in the room while still being entertaining, that shows a true entertainer. These award shows are supposed to be about awarding artist for their talents not who they're sleeping with. I give a lot of credit to celebrities who are able to manage balance in their lives, I can't imagine how difficult that must be. Yes, their lives are entertaining because they all appear to live such fabulous lives but in the end it should just come down to are they a good artist, do they actually contribute to their industry or do they set it back. If we did that we'd see less celebs famous for really nothing and make room for people who truly deserve it.
Kevin Hart Rules. Finally someone had the guts to say the right thing in front of the entire VMA audience. People really need to get off Kristen Stewart's back. Enough already!

now God forbid i am not defending Kristen Steward for what she did, in fact i think she's the biggest dumbass in the world. but my point is good for Kevin Hart. he lightned the mood on it and makes it probably a LITTLE easier to talk about in public in the fture. also his speech on Drake and recycling and Chris Brown was hilarious.

I think this was probably the lamest opening of all VMAs. It was hardly funny! The only bit that was slightly funny was the Drake/Chris Brown fight and the Russel Brand diss.
The whole KS thing was backhanded compliment. Are people seriously thinking this guy truly stuck up for KS? Meh. He didn't really had to address it and the seven dwarfs bit was a complete fail of a joke.
