Lupe Fiasco Announces Possible Retirement After Senseless Twitter Threat!

LeAnn Rimes isn't the only musician who is tired of dealing with Twitter haters!
He's not taking the guy to court, but Lupe Fiasco "will probably" be retiring from music after receiving a hateful and threatening tweet from Chief Keef.
In reference to Lupe's song Bitch Bad, which condemns the use of the word in hip hop music, the rapper from Chicago tweeted:
"Lupe fiasco a hoe ass n*gga And wen I see him I'ma smack him like da lil bitch he is"
Wow! A little much, don't ya think?
Instead of furthering the feud by tossing another insult into the Twitterverse, Lupe responded with nothing but love and said:
"Cant go 4 that & i cant let the people i love, including you my n*gga, go 4 that either. We kings not f*cking savages and goons … i love u lil bruh…i really really do from the bottom of my f*cking heart. I know that street shit like the back of my hand."
The comment sparked some SERIOUS contemplation inside his head too because he proceeded to write this little prayer:
"My father i have spoken the truth to them yet it has only made my life in this world more troubled. i can bear this no longer…I have spoken peace only 2 receive vitriol and malice in return. My brother seeks destruction my sister seeks attention paths to nothingness. I'd die for them…but they'd probably spit on my grave…i still will die for them…just bury me in a place far from their reach…Amin."
We're definitely proud of him for taking the high road, but it sounds like that road may unfortunately lead him right out of the music industry! Things took a surprising turn for the worse as he continued to add:
This album will probably be my last…its been a pleasure to have all my fans provide so much love an inspiration for me and my family

but my heart is broken and i see no comfort further along this path only more pain. I cannot participate any longer in this…

My first true love was literature so i will return to that…lupe fiasco ends here…

See, people. Words DO hurt!
We learned that lesson some time ago and maybe Keef learned his too. Or never even meant to say the words in the first place because he wrote:
"My twitter has been hacked I think I'm making a new one dumb hating ass people"
We think it would be a real shame if Lupe left music because his songs are so insightful and thought-provoking.
Just ask Kanye West! The man's entire outlook on music and LIFE may have been changed by Bitch Bad.
Ignorant comments from guys like Keef should only prove to Lupe just how important his music is and why he needs to continue making it! Keep that head up!

Keef is also now under investigation for the murder of another Chicago rapper that was gunned down earlier this week.
Sad because Lupe Fiasco is an extremely intelligent, talented personality who has contributed a long catalog in the hip-hop culture. While Keef is yet another ignorant, classless goon who runs the streets and takes hip-hop down a notch. Not only should we be team Lupe, but we should hold our heads high to violence and completely snub this sad fatherless Keef.
Lupe is probably one of the few (if not only) mainstream rappers thay doesn't rap about the typical trivial sh*t such as money, cars, hoes, weed, guns, ect. Sucks to see people like hum getting replaced by some semi literate 17 year old ex convict that only raps about getting high and killing people. Oh well, back to the underground.
He was probably drunk
I seriously hopes he changes his mind, we NEED someone like Lupe Fiasco. Someone that cuts through all the BS out there and tells the truth with his music. DON'T GO LUPE! DON'T GO!
I'm sure the two people that know who he is are just devastated
Um it is Lupe Fiasco, some real hip hop, not top 40 Miley cirus stuff. Just bc you don't know relevant artists don't say ignorant thing. Educate yourself sweety.
Re: MVPnis – lol!
Chief Keef wasn't insulted by 'Bitch Bad'. lol In an interview recently conducted by 92Q in Baltimore, Lupe spoke to the murder rate in Chicago and how he dislikes the things that Chief Keef raps about and represents in his music. Upon receiving this, Chief Keef issued the replies that you misinterpreted as responses to 'Bitch Bad'.
