Gwen Stefani Calls Decade-Long Marriage To Gavin Rossdale 'A Miracle'

Well done!

We had no doubt No Doubt's lead singer could rock her way through 10 years of marriage to Gavin Rossdale — but Gwen wasn't as sure!

The 42 year-old multi-platinum recording artist spoke candidly about difficulties inherent to maintaining a functional relationship and revealed that sh*t was bananas (b-a-n-a-n-a-s.)

Gwen Stefani admitted:

“[Our relationship is] A miracle… my biggest accomplishment is my marriage so far. Because it’s hard, everyone knows it’s hard. [Marriage] is something that I always wanted to do successfully. It was a dream of mine. I like the official-ness and the family-ness of it all, having the same name and making decisions together.”

We can imagine!!

Most couples find enough trouble balancing careers with parenting responsibilities and their own relationship often takes a backseat. Imagine how the additional stress of doing it all in the public spotlight!

But Gwen holds her head up high. She promises things are awesome between the two of them.

She said:

“[Our relationship] is better than it’s ever been. Like, we’re learning about each other all the time. He’s an amazing dad, he works so hard – I can hear him writing songs through the wall, and it is at a much quicker pace than me! He balances me out. And he – he never stops liking me, which is awesome! It makes me feel happy, that someone likes me as much as he does.”

Wow! Kudos to you two, for making it work for so long!

We wish you many more decades of marital bliss!
