Zac Efron Misses Musicals! May Return For High School Musical 4?!?!

Oh Zacky, baby, please don't tease us so!

While he may have wandered from his musical theater roots to focus on more serious, challenging film roles like The Paperboy and At Any Price, it seems Zac Efron still has a song in his heart and a toe-tapping tune in his feet…

And would totally do more musicals in the future!

Zac recently revealed:

"Without a doubt, I’d love to do Broadway. I actually can’t wait to get back to musical theater. There’s a part of me that wishes I could go do it right now, but there’s also a part of me that knows I need to tackle other types of acting opportunities first. I want to be a well-rounded, versatile performer. Until I master other things, it would be hard for me to get back to musical theater. But that will always be my home base and where I feel the most free, and it’s something I will definitely do again, even it it’s just for pleasure and personal fulfillment."

Ok so no specific mention of High School Musical: The Reunion, but we can dream, right?!

And as long as Zac's golden vocals pleasure our ears at least one more time, then we guess any musical endeavor will do…

But like, a shirtless one. Preferably pantsless. Awesome.

    He always looks in photos like trying to hard to be masculine and not (gay). How does he still have career? All of his movies outside of HSM have ben BOMBS! He's not convincing in his work or private life. Sorry Zacquisha. Be real.

    Re: skankeliminator – Um.. Seriously? His box office average is approximately $85M gross per film. The Lorax pulled in $337M worldwide, 17 Again pulled in $136M worldwide, and The Lucky One pulled in $92M worldwide. Those aren't bombs.

    Someone seems a little jealous of Mr. Efron.
