Channing Tatum Teases With Magic Mike 2 Deets!
With both a Broadway musical and a sequel in the works, Magic Mike isn’t going ANYWHERE anytime soon!
While we already know Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey are down for stripping on the silver screen for a second time, Tatum revealed some NEW deets for the film’s plans!
Being the AH-Mazing tease that he is, Channing revealed:
"We really want to [make it].”
And???
Supposedly, Mr. Tatum is down for directing the flick, along with co-writer Reid Carolin and it seems the film would be more of a prequel!
Carolin was recently quoted in an interview saying that Magic Mike 2 could end up being a “broad road trip comedy,” though nothing has been confirmed yet.
Although the first film ends with a cliffhanger, we are ALL for a prequel — that means Channing would still remain in it as the lead character!
…And you know we have NO complaints about that, LOLz!
We're sure the wait will be a long and hard one, seeing as it'll be AFTER its Broadway debut! Ha!
