    I don't get it. I will never forgive the person who killed my dad. Never! Why should I? He's done nothing good to me.
    I think it's idiotic to forgive someone like that.

    How Christian of her… she forgives so she can let it go. It is a Christian concept that most people can't understand. Once she forgives, the hate and anger has no hold over her anymore.

    Re: stefystef – I had friends murdered and I feel the same way as Jennifer. I feel sorry for the murderer because of everything that made him the way he is. Of course he should be punished, but there can still be forgiveness. I am an atheist. My forgiveness has nothing to do with Christianity. Forgiveness is a concept that it personal and can be found in many cultures and religions and in people without religion - please don't claim it as Christian.
