Britney Spears: Go Ahead And Boo Me

| Filed under: TV NewsBritney SpearsSimon CowellDemi LovatoX Factor

Now that Britney Spears is a judge on X Factor she had to get used to an audience reaction that she probably hasn't heard much in her career.

Demi Lovato explains:

"We got more comfortable in telling our opinions without being afraid of the booing. When Britney and I first started on on this show, we were looking at each other like, 'What do we do? We're so nervous!'"

Oh no! Booing you two is equivalent to booing the Pope. Or even worse!!!

And how did Brit-Brit handle the audience's boorish reaction?

The singer says:

"There's no way of prepping, really. You just get ready and you go out there and you do it."

Now that's the star we know all and love!!! We just hope she isn't crying, crying in her lonely heart.

Simon Cowell added:

"She's fearless. When she says 'no' or disagrees, she couldn't care less. The first day, the second she said 'no,' everyone booed her and that happened a lot and I think she found it very intimidating."

Well, jeez who wouldn't be intimidated?

But we're glad Britney has overcame her fears of saying the big N-O. The only thing she has to fear is fear itself. Plus she isn't losing any brownie points with us for speaking her mind because A. we love her and B. we LOVE her!!!

She says, 'there's no way of prepping'? I am guessing that she has been prepped, prepped, and prepped again. I will be very surprised if there is anything spontaneous about this show - but I we will never know, will we?

Brit Brit seemed a bit nervous, and she had a harsh look on her face at times (usually caaused from prescription drugs to deal with depression), but, over all, she pulled it off. I am sure it was heavily edited, tho' …just say'n ……

I watched both The Voice and X Factor purposely to compare the both and sorry Britney… but the show was lame and sort predictable, it weirded me out when Simon was sorta coaching Britney after that first annoying performance FYI "its done to death and isn’t funny anymore" He basically told her to continue giving scowls and be short with people. It’s not cute anymore. The Voice however had a much lighter and positive tone to it with touching stories not stupid ass comments like (Paige Thomas the first contestant) who said “I love Britney cuz she’s a hot mom and I’m a hot mom too” … really?

I thought the show was a snoozefest! Luckily I taped so I had the luxury to FF so it wasn't as painful to watch. Who is Simon kidding? This show doesn't hold a candle to The Voice. Thus far, the talent is below par. Demi sounds like a 12 yr. old, Britney was robotic, Simon has lost his appeal and LA is blah. I gave it a shot and I wasn't impressed nor entertained. I'll stick with The Voice!!!

What a SNOOZEFEST!!! Luckily I taped it so I had the luxury of FF through 3/4 of the show. Demi sounds like a 12 yr. old, Britney was robotic, Simon has lost his appeal and LA is just simply blah. This show doesn't hold a candle to the voice!

I watched the entire 2 hr. X factor for the first time tonight. I watched a little last yr but did not enjoy it. Britney and Demi were fantastic. This show is much better than American Idol

Ummmm Brit is FEARLESS because she is so heavily sedated. Poor girl does not even know where she is . . . and who exactly is that other chick on the show?

The Xfactor has definitely set the bar pretty high with bringing Brittany on as a judge. She is so talented and definitely should not be concerned if some one has a different opinion then her. I was talking to this girl that works at Dish with me and she said that she heard Brittany is pretty harsh on all of the contestants. I think that if any one has a right to be harsh, it is her. I just can’t wait to get off so I can watch the premier. I can’t believe I forgot to set it to record though. If my roommates Hopper didn’t record all of Fox’s prime time shows then I am sure it would never happen.

Newsflash: you're supposed to boo the Pope. Yes, the Pope the one who forbids homosexuality and condoms. Seriously? Vom…

I think Britney and Demi bring a great perspective as child performers

She so odd and unnatural…..maybe it is the drugs she's on. I wish her fiance would stop pimping her out.

She has a lot to say for someone that lip syncs their way through a song. If its notate in a studio it's not Brit. X factor a joke and so is a bat chit judge with an earpiece that is being fed lines. Who watches this crap anyway?

  15. 15

I don't watch the show…but holy hells the photoshopping!! Demi is a curvy, gorgeous woman but they made her look like everyone else. Ugh.
