    Love your blog Perez, but apparently Kate and Wills are both on anti-malaria medications (often taken as a precaustion while travelling to many countries in Asia) and it is recommended to avoid alcohol while on those meds. Too bad…

    She is TOTALLY PREGGERS. You can tell by the cut of her dress and the last purple dress she wore. I saw the pics and immediately thought she looked pregnant.!!!

    To avoid "Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder" doctors are now saying you shoudn't drink even while trying to get pregnant.

    They still haven't figured out why an alcoholic's baby can be normal, whereas someone who rarely drinks but does so at the wrong time of the pregnancy has a baby who is affected. This is a brain injury that can be totally prevented so the recommendation is to err on the side of caution to be sure.

    Re: Be strong – thats bullshit….a moderate amount of alcohol at any time during pregnancy does nothing to harm the baby….with my first child i asked my doc if i could still have wine a couple times a week and he said it was perfectly fine….he said only heavy alcoholic type drinking can harm a child and not even always in that case…..smoking does way more harm than any drinking! The NO ALCOHOL during pregnancy crowd are even now saying that crack cocaine is safer than alcohol….they are just so full of shit………i had wine through both my pregnancies and my kids were born healthy and strong and are at the top of their class…..i personally think they just dont want to say only an alcoholic can cause fetal alcohol syndrome because then you might hurt their feelings by saying they are alcoholics….cause of course you know we have to never hurt anyones feelings nowadays.

    I don't trust your sources, they're wrong 90% of the time! It could be any number of reasons she declined alcohol. If they are trying to get pregnant, doctors will tell you to stop drinking for a higher chance of success. Fetal alcohol syndrome has been seen from mothers who drink a few times a year to full blown alcoholics. And to the people saying alcohol in moderation is fine when you're pregnant, why take the chance???? If you can't go 9 months without an occasional glass of wine, you might have more of an alcoholism problem than you think!

    Re: emeraldfire – You were a lucky one. My info is not wrong. As previously stated, they don't know how or why some are affected and not others. In other words, they just don't know who will be and who won't be and each pregnancy is different. Why risk this?
