    This is great gesture from Johnny,I saw a photo of him and Vanessa it was so good almost made me cry.It would be fantastic if they did get back together,he just dose not look right with anyone else.Be happy both of you.

    1 I'm not sure if buying a house can win her back and if he loved her so much then why was he Messing around with amber what was the reason for that and every time he went back Vanessa he was with amber 2 I love johnny I don't know I just don't know but I wish the best for johnny and Vanessa if they do get back together he need 2 his act together cause there is only so much a women can take 4 such beautiful home those

    Some people don't understand one simple thing: they've amicably separated. AMICABLY. Of course Johnny still loves her, but not as a lover anymore. That's why he is dating another woman. Vanessa is the mother of his kids (and he loves his kids more than everything). But he and Vanessa have both have moved on romanticly. I don't understand why some people find so difficul to understand that with time things can change and the romantic love and sex and fire may turn into a friendship or cordiality. Johnny is so happy now being single, he's all smiles. Can't you see that? If you can't so you're blind.

    And Vanessa was hunting for a house in May. So, it's not new.

    Goes to show what a class act he is. You constantly read stories of him doing kind things for others. So different from most of the hollywood trash.

    What a beautiful house for whom was the love of his life…the mother of his children!
    Such a nice gesture and nice man he is!
    But I bet he always will be taking care of her!

    I don't think he's romantically involved with anyone else as people say here. he's never seen with them!
    I think there's just so much mutual love and respect between him and Vanessa. Vanessa said it too, that she was in love with him but unhappy.

    he didn't look happy to me in TIFF or at Aerosmith's concert. sure he'll put on a smile to come out in public but his eyes weren't happy.

    Re: Lovely – Well… I don't think she was the love of his life (to me it was Winona), but he respect her, she is the mother of his kids, it will never change. But in love I really believe he has already turned the page.

    She deserves a beautiful house to spend time with the kids when she comes to USA. But I insist: this is not new.

    Johnny is really a good man. Some people are so cruel to him, saying that he is in a middle-life crisis, I hate it…

    Re: Jolie – I completly disagree. His beautiful eyes are shining again since April! He was soooo miserable and tense and serious and sad for a long, long time. But in the last months he is so free and happy doing everything he wants. Take a look at his recent pics again! In TIFF he was serious at the Press Conference because there was a serious subjet, but in the red carpet, he was smiling all the time. To me Johnny was in a prision, and I understand Vanessa when she says that she was still in love with him but unhappy. That's because he didn't love her back anymore. He wanted to get out of the relacionship. They both was sad together and it was making the kids sad as well. Now I've been observing them: they all look better and happy and healthy. I strongly believe the split was the best thing for all of them. I wish for them happyness and everything good in life.

    What a NASTY AND PRESUMPTUOUS COMMENT of you "Elizabeth" on such a nice gesture of an EX ! Seems you're still EXTREMELY JEALOUS of that generous gift to a girlfriend…. However, affair or not with Amber or anybody else: AT LEAST the man looks MUCH HAPPIER SINCE THE SPLIT !!
    And you know what? I believe the house is more for his children than for the woman.
