Just a day after she gave her first inspiring overseas speech, the future Queen of England was ROCKED with the news that her topless time on a private estate was photographed and published!
She and Prince William found out during their breakfast! But somehow, they were able to keep from vomiting. Phew!
Their rep immediately alerted the world of how angry and pissed they were… understandably so! They said a line had been crossed! And we'd kinda have to agree! We mean… they were on a private estate!
So sure enough, the Palace decided to begin their lawsuit war against the French magazine Closer for publishing the photos. Take that kind of snap!
Of course, the mag's editor defended the publication's actions. But the reasoning was kinda hypocritical… Ugh!
Fuming on the inside, Kate managed to maintain her composure during her business visits in Malaysia. Cuz she's classy like that!
And then the real scandal bomb went BOOM! The editor later said that the topless photos she decided to put in the magazine weren't anything compared to the racier, "more intimate" photos of the Duke and Duchess! Yep… she hinted at SEX PHOTOS …of the ROYALS!!
So all in all, it's been one helluva day for the Palace. And poor Kate! These were not sexty photos that had been leaked. This was a blatant invasion of privacy.
They were having a private vacation on a private estate and the photogs caught them with their long-lens cameras. Disturbing!!

The bigger matter here is the blatant invasion of privacy in a country that has the toughest anti-papz laws in the world, put in place after Diana's death.

There are photos of many royals and public figures naked, going back many years, from Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis to Princess Diana, and Sarah Duchess of York. Why should Kate be any different?

To me, if they didn't sue, it'd be silently telling the paps that it's okay to invade their privacy, acting like it was no big deal would deliver just that message, that it wasn't a big deal to invade their privacy. If she had been a more public place and had decided to go topless, I'd agree that a lawsuit would be silly, but she was somewhere she thought no one could see her so they have to take a stand.
