Game Of Thrones Nabs SIX Creative Arts Emmys!

creative-arts-emmy-winners-list

HBO must be feeling pretty good right now!

They've already been honored with 17 Emmys this week, and the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards aren't even airing until September 23rd!

But luckily for them, that's why we have the Creative Arts Emmys, which honor the TV achievements that producers don't have time to include in the airing of official ceremony, and during yesterday's event at the Nokia Theatre, the cable network was the big winner, with their series Game of Thrones taking home six trophies, including costumes, make-up and special visual effects!

Meanwhile, Kathy Bates was honored as Best Guest Actress in a Comedy for her version of Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men, and Downton Abbey and Homeland both took home awards each!

One show that DIDN'T get any wins, however, was Mad Men!

But we think we all know that they'll get enough of those at Primetime!

Ha!

Ch-ch-check out THE FULL LIST of the big winners at the 2012 Creative Arts Emmys…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

One comment to “Game Of Thrones Nabs SIX Creative Arts Emmys!”

  1. 1

If the Creative Arts Emmys are an indicator, tomorrow night should be another great time HBO! I love Game of Thrones and Girls, a weird combination, and think they have serious chances at being big winners. I am working some overtime at DISH on Sunday, so I turned on the PrimeTime Any Time feature on my Hopper so I can see the acceptance speeches later. My DVR automatically records three hours of primetime coverage on the big four networks, which helps me keep up with shows if I forget to record them. I’ll be happy if Game of Thrones or Downton Abbey walks away with the best series award since they both deserve it!
