Zac Efron Struggles To Quit & Sneaks A Smoke!

Zac Efron Smoking NYC Monkey Bar

Oh our seksi Zefron!

It seems even oh-so-perfect Zac Efron struggles with his bad habits, as well!

The actor was most recently spotted out in the Big Apple, at a party for Richard Gere’s new flick, Arbitrage, smoking on a cig!

An insider revealed:

“He was puffing on the electric cigarette with friends in a back corner booth, but then he went outside and walked down the block to sneak cigarettes.”

Sounds like although he’s taking the steps to rid the addiction, he’s having some hard time quitting!

Hang in there, Zac! We know you’ll kick the habit soon enough!

Perez, im surprised you missed this opportunity for some innuendo. Possibly about how you have something for zac to suck on instead of a cigerette

Gross!! I hate when I hear that a celebrity smokes.. Do they all have such low self-esteem, and not realize they are fricken role models to a lot of young kids.. Disgusting!!!

I have quit many things at the drop of a hat, with no problem at all, among them marijuana after more than 20 years, but if I could quit cigarettes, I'd consider it one of the greatest accomplishments of my entire life.

Thanks for cutting him some slack, Perez. Look, we all hook and unhook on habits so calm down. He's still a puppy and just as cute as one. He'll figure it out.

I know a lot of his young fans who are against smoking will go to their graves saying Zac doesn't smoke. But there are videos and pix of him smoking cigarettes. And considering the known health problems brought on by smoking, I find it hard to believe that anyone would even start smoking. From the looks of Zac's skin (coarse/thick) I'd say he's been smoking for a while. It prematurely ages people.

I think those of you who do not smioke to not realize how hard it is to quit. I have tried 6 times and I have read it is harder than kicking heroin, which I believe. I have been lucky healthwise aside from an occasional case of smokers bronchitis in the winter.

Re: teeter totter – From what I understand, it's one of the worst drugs there is to quit, and from experience, I believe it. With all the shit that goes into tobacco these days, it's even harder to quit today than it was years ago too.
Anyone saying "with all the health shit we know…" yeah, well most people start when they're young and stupid and some people who have actually been diagnosed with cancer can't quit. Unless you've been addicted, you understand exactly nothing about it.

Lol he IS an idiot. I just remembered Zac was very ill with bronchitis last year when he came to film in my hometown in DeKalb (Sycamore woo!!) but he was really nice and signed a bunch of stuff for me and my friends. But he really is stupid to be smoking still after getting put in the ER. Hmmm. Some people will never learn…

Re: teeter totter – All the fun vices are frowned upon now. I know there's reason, but I still smoke a cig once in a while. It was promoted in ads for decades before they yanked it.

I can honestly say that I'm not surprised with zac efron, stars nowadays don't get it that when you get famous, you get stressed! Zac shouldn't have even started! Tobacco kills you! It ain't cool, you smoke you cough then die! Thank goodness some have stopped!!

I quit about 20 years ago and haven't looked back since. Working out really helped me stop smoking. Sucking air in step class, feeling the congestion in my lungs as I did cardio were very motivating. Wanna quit? Start cardio. It works.

For years I been struggling to quit smoking. Just learn about a Los Angeles based quit smoking clinic called Freedom Laser Therapy. According to their main company website they've been in business since 2003. Craig Nabat, the former smoker developed a new at home stop smoking program. The guy claims it actually takes 10 days to actually quit smoking. It looks like it could help me stop smoking. There is a free trial offer to try it. Anyone heard about this? Looks legit to me.
