His Chippendales days are over!
Joey Lawrence is done taking off his clothes for cash, and has now hosting a cable countdown show!
Big improvement… right?
The 90s sitcom star, who currently stars in the
clearly poorly-paying ABC Family comedy Melissa & Joey, signed up to host DIY's That's So 80s.
The network describes the show, saying:
"With Joey Lawrence at the helm, design pros and pop culture experts open up the DIY Network and HGTV archives to tackle the worst trends from the 1980s as we answer the question: "What were we thinking? From the mystique of the waterbed and the luxury of a carpeted bathroom, to the unsightliness of glass bricks, That's So 80s is covering every room in the house. Additional topics include Tech & Gloss, Sponge Painting, Pastels, Chia Pets, and Ferns."
We didn't catch the show's debut, and we're probs not going to watch it ever — but only because it sounds like something we've watched 100 times before.
BUT… if any of U wanna tune in to see your fave oldest Lawrence bro on the small screen tune in this Saturday on DIY!
