Shaun White Releases Heartfelt Public Statement After Hotel Debacle And Arrest

The two-time Olympic champion feels HORRIBLE today and not just because he has a black-eye and a hangover!

We think Shaun White is an athlete who takes his responsibilities as a role model and an ambassador for his country seriously and he showed that today in a Facebook statement he released to his fans.

His apology for the bad decisions that led to Sunday's arrest was direct and sincere.

Shaun said:

"I want to apologize for the unwise choices I made over the weekend and for any inconvenience it caused my family, friends, business partners, the hotel and their guests. I was celebrating a happy occasion with a ton of family and friends and got carried away. I'm truly sorry for my poor behavior."

Yikes! It's obvious his pride and his ego are bruised more badly than his face!

We realize the gold medal winner is severely embarassed after destroying a hotel room and being caught drunk in public but we appreciate his efforts to take responsibility for his actions.

Everyone makes occasional mistakes and we can only hope Shuan learns from his lapse in judgement!

Miley Cyrus Insists Alcohol Is 'Way More Dangerous' Than Weed! Shares Her New Priorities As An Adult & Artist!

Perhaps Amanda Bynes would have been better off giving Miley Cyrus her bong!

The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.

Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:

"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."

That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."

She added:

"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."

Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...

As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
