Can YOU Sing??? These Folks Can!

| Filed under: Taylor SwiftCan YOU Sing???Charlie Puth

We got so many great covers of Taylor Swift's We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together!

It was sooooo tough to decide on just one winner for our latest "Can YOU Sing?" competition!

After much and careful deliberation, though, our first place entry is…. Rachel Valarik!

She did a Taylor Swift-style cover of Taylor's song! Ha! And it was quite effective! Hers was the cover which was most pleasing to our ears! It's kinda eerily awesome how much she sounds like Swifty too!

Check it out above!

Our 2nd place goes to…. Half Priced Hearts! This band brings a Fun-inspired vibe to the song, which suits it very well!

Check it out below and also…

Congrats also to Chloe & Halle! They are so young!!! Only 12 and 14! These sisters have a great future ahead of them! Their harmonizing is so beautiful! Check it out below!

Tasmin Kania's arrangement is so unique! And her voice has a real ethereal beauty! We love both! Check out her cover below!

Mackenzie Music brought a lovely Colbie Caillat-ness to her cover! Check out the pretty below!

We love how much effort Alli Walker put into her video! Taylor would do the same! It's very Swifty! Check it out below!

Love TickleMeElmo1's voice and percussion-only take on the song! Check it out below!

Tae Brooks brings a youthful swaggy in his cover! Check it out below!

And a special honorable mention to previous "Can YOU Sing" winner Charlie Puth! Check out his cover below!

half priced hearts is amazing! definitely my favorite. such a cool, fun video :D

The "winner" might just as well have used Taylor's own track because they sound identical. There is no creativity vocally speaking. The song sounded exactly the same as Taylor's, but in an "unplugged" way. The second video deserved winning. They made the song theirs, gave it their own spin, their own sound. And the video was so damn funny.

Well, they get exposure which sometimes is better than any crappy little gift or a few hundred dollars imo.

I'm sorry… Is this a joke? How can you request that individuals show their unique renditions of the song and then pick a winner because it is "eerily awesome how much [she] sounds like Swifty too"? Really shocked at how poor all the chosen videos are. Next time you have a competition, clarify that originality is NOT one of the criteria for judging. Expected more from you, Perez!! Thank God YouTube is the extent to which any of these people will be seen again.

Really? Is this what you call 'original' ? I've seen better ones than these, you just lost serious points of credibility there Perez!
