It's self-evident Dina Lohan has callously used Lindsay to attain wealth and fame- which neither she nor her daughter deserve. This is much like the machinations of Kris Kardashian.
Repugnant as they all may be- is not Lindsay an adult?
If Dina is legal guardian- as we are lead to believe- why is Lindsay not court-ordered into rehab?
Or is this another case of Hollywood law of one harsh rule for the masses and another for celebrities?
PS Ojsakila - I believe you mean "nouveau riche"- it's a French expression- but understanding the massive Hispanic influx into USA, it's perfectly understandable "neuvo" would roll off the tongue.
A better word sadly out of use is: "Parvenu"- a newcomer to a socioeconomic class- the past participle of the French verb "parvenir" (to reach, to arrive, to manage to do something).

Yes, Dina Lohan is an awful mother. Yes, she made tons and tons of mistakes. However, Lindsay is an adult now and everyone has the freedom of choice. It is up to her now how she lives her life.

Yeah, blame 'the mother' while the ex takes cheap shots just to help keep the family off balance and hiding for safety away from his mouth. Linday's been able to vote for five years now. Maybe the mother could use some help for a change.
The sooner a 26 year old takes responsibility and accountability for her own actions,the sooner it will be smooth sailing for her.
