HBO's Treme Will Get A Final Season!
Yay!!! We like it when TV shows can tie their stories together in a nice bow!
Treme creator David Simon has announced that his show will return for a fourth and final season.
Much like Simon's last creation, The Wire, critics LOVE Treme but audiences don't; season two averaged only 500,000 viewers per episode.
Actress Khadi Alexander says the following on her show's conclusion:
David [Simon] has made it clear that he wants a conclusion, and it is my understanding that, as of today, we're very close to being able to have a conclusion — and I'm looking forward to that.
Season three of Treme premieres tonight after the Emmys at 9 pm EST.
