Oh why why WHY must you tease us so, you music Bossanitas?!
Back in 2010, Girl On Fire Alicia Keys and President Obama's sexy new bestie Beyoncé recorded slick, poppy duet Put It In A Love Song AND filmed a super fun video set in Brazil ft. the lovely ladies dressed in multi-colored finery.
BUT, for some unknown reason, the tune's seemingly charismatic video was never released, and NO explanantion was given as to why such an epic collaboration was denied to the world…
Alicia recently revealed the decision making process behind Put It In A Love Song's video disappearance, expressing:
"Sometimes with creative things [it] all comes together and it's [perfect], and sometimes things almost come together and it's better to just leave it.
We had a ball shooting the video. It just so happens that the whole thing, for some reason or another, didn't quite come together, so we just decided to leave it."
Ah well, we must trust the decision of our music betters, and we will respect their choice to NOT unleash this visual duet of epic proportions…
But like, maybe you guys can sneakily 'leak' the video on the interwebz?! Just for funzies?
