Fiona Apple has been in the news lately for all of the wrong reasons, and while it is certainly to be expected that she's feeling stressed lately - we had no idea it would take such a toll on her looks!
There's a difference between looking healthy skinny and scary skinny, and it looks like Fiona has passed that line a couple exits back!
We certainly don't condone her behavior recently, but we've just got to say that the girl should relax a little bit and definitely eat something!
We don't want her beautiful harmonic vocal chords to whither away because of this one mistake.

She was raped at the age of 12, and developed an eating disorder so that she would look less like a woman, and therefore wouldn't attract the attention of men. It's really, really tragic. I saw her live a month ago, and she looks WAY thinner in person. She gave a great performance, but it was really upsetting to see how gaunt she is. She couldn't possibly way more than 90 pounds (she's about 5'2").

As someone who has struggled with an eating disorder, it's not a joke. It's something to take lightly on a catty internet blog, it's a serious condition. It's just as serious as drug addiction (something you also seem to like to make fun of), mental illness, etc. A person with an eating disorder cannot simply just "eat more" and magically get better. It's not that simple. The deep, psychological roots as to WHY the person developed the disorder in the first place need to be addressed in order for the person to get better. Poor Fiona. I have all her albums and absolutely adore her and I hope she can get the help she needs to get better
Sorry but she looks worst than Macaulay Culkin. She use to be so hot, now she looks like she is dying. Either she has cancer or she is on bad drugs like meth or something. And claiming to be raped at 12 has nothing to do with it. Lots of girls have had their lil coochie played with, but that's no reason to go all crazy about it and destroy your own body and career. All I know is something is tragically wrong. She looks about 80! Sad because I am a huge fan!

I went to jail in Texas and I didn't eat a thing served. I gave my food to the pregnant girls in the cell I was in. And I was arrested for being drunk on an Airplane (which is actually legal). And the dumb Texas cops gave me back my luggage complete with pot crispy treats. Love her for always being herself. BTW Fiona Apple has a gluten allergy which makes you lose weight like a muther.

Dude, she's had anorexia since before Criminal came out; she was sexually abused as a girl and it sparked an eating disorder. I don't know why all these "fans" are blaming meth or heroin for her gaunt looks, but if they're really fans they'd know that her song "Paper Bag" is subliminally and cryptically but very directly about her disorder. I would know, it was like the theme song for all of the girls in every treatment center I went to. She was healthy and beautiful in 2006 when I saw her but right now it looks like she's in the middle of a really bad relapse. I hope she gets help and gets better. Love you, Fiona.
