I actually like Kelly's better, mainly because Adele's has been beaten to death by radio plays.

As much as I love kelly clarkson, adele's lower voice suits better in Someone Like You. Maybe that could change if kelly recorded it professionally instead of singing it live. But still, she did quite well on this one, unlike the disaster made by Katy Perry's atrocious vocals.
Kelly is by far more talented vocally, Adele is awesome. Cute for somebody to say any negative about this cover. But when it comes to the voice Kelly takes it, also the deal with the one requested cover per show is because Kelly lets her fans choose any song cause she can sing any song plus there are so many because she has sold out tours all over the world.
Nobody can nail it like Adele can…. NO on the awesome Perez.

The answer is easy here Adele's is MUCH better but it's a good try by Kelly.

Leave it to Kelly to give Adele a run for her money on this song. She completely makes it her own and refreshes and reenergizes this song. Spot on! A+!

Kelly is singing this song like an old blues singer whose man done beat her ass, stole her money and fucked her best friend. You feel her pain. Sang girl.
Kelly Clarkson actually sounds better on this song. She has more range and she keeps her throat open on the higher notes. Adele sounds kind of screechy and tight on her higher notes. A couple of her songs sounded strained with the upper notes last year. However, I am sure that now that she has had the vocal surgery, she will sound much better. Adele does have a unique sound as does Kelly Clarkson. While both ladies are mega talented (aside from Adele's stained upper register), I have to go with Kelly Clarkson. She can sing anything and the fact that she can take on other people's covers and sound as good, if not better in most of them is phenomenal. It was a smart move for her to sing a different cover at each concert, it not only gives it a special touch, but probably brings more people to her concerts.
Gotta love Kelly all the way. It's interesting to hear her sing "I wish nothing best for you" when in Never Again, she sang "I would never wish bad things, but I don't wish you well."
