She's been saying she hates music and doesn't listen to her own records for 40 years now. She's never been on the cutting edge of music, even though she's the best-selling female artist in the US. But somehow I just don't believe that she doesn't like listening to herself.

Barbara is so arrogant. I grew up when she was big. No doubt she has an incredible voice and is a great actress but honestly I am totally turned off by her conceit. The attention she gets when she finally decides to come out of her Malibu home I find frustrating. All this shyness I believe whole heartedly is her gimmick, sadly it works for her.
I can’t wait until Barbra’s new duets album comes out and I’m even more excited to hear about her new movie as well. I loved this interview on Katie and it gave me and my DISH coworkers plenty to talk about. Luckily I recorded it on my Hopper because when I played it back I was able to start watching it on my living room TV and then continue watching it on any TV in my house.
