FX Developing A Fargo Television Series

| Filed under: TV NewsFilm Flickers

FX is developing a television show that could easily be another hit.

After all, the source material won two Oscars!

Joel and Ethan Coen's Fargo is in the process of becoming an hourlong program for the network which made a name for itself with crime shows like The Shield and Sons of Anarchy.

While Noah Hawley, the creator of The Unusuals and My Generation, is writing the pilot, fans should be happy to hear that the Coen Brothers are executive producing it!

It's probably a bad idea to bring this dark and twisted tale without their participation (like the time they tried in 2003), so it's a good thing they are on board!

there are good ideas and bad ideas… this is a bad idea. It's a great movie, but not something that will develop well into a tv show.

No thanks - why are there so few original movies and TV shows? I refuse to watch remakes. sequels, etc.
