Hong Kong Father Offering $63 Million To Any Man Who Marries His (Already Married) Lesbian Daughter!

A Hong Kong real estate tycoon is so oblivious to reality, tolerance and consideration for his daughter's feelings that he's offering $63 million to any man capable of convincing her to dump the woman she married last spring to enter holy matrimony with him instead.

Cecil Chao Sze-tsung refuses to accept the fact that his daughter Gigi eloped to France last April to marry her lesbian partner and has put the offer on the table for any "generous and kind-hearted man."

The 76-year-old prefers living in la la land over accepting the love of his daughter's life into his family, so he's calling reports of Gigi's same-sex marriage "false."

This sounds like the plot to a bad romantic comedy from the 90s, but sadly, it's completely true. Cecil calls his ridiculous offer "an inducement to attract someone who has the talent but not the capital to start his own business".

He doesn't mind if the man she marries is "rich or poor", just as long as he's a he and not a she, apparently.

It's hard to believe a guy like Mr. Sze-tsung has so much money to throw around when he doesn't have all that much sense. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Gigi (pictured above) doesn't have any trouble attracting men — she is just simply more attracted to women!

So sad to see a man in THIS MUCH denial and even sadder to know he'd rather spend a fortune than accept that his daughter has found happiness with a woman.

    That dad is a jerk…an ignorant jerk…how dare him treat her like a cocubine…sexist pig…like she has no choice in being happy? She is ADORABLE….many women would be lucky to have her, it appears…..This dad needs to develop a tolerance and love his daughter for who she IS….she deserves to be happy and in peace with her wife….

    Good grief, she might be pursued now to the point of abject misery. Apart from a lack of understanding regarding her bent, this just shows you how much people might be yearning for genetic grandchildren.

    The $63 Million might be in HK dollars, so in US that would be about $8Million. Still a lot, but I highly doubt he's offering $63Million USD for this. I'm half Chinese (from Hong Kong) and although this is unfortunate, it's very common in HK for a father to not accept that his kids are gay. This is a little extreme though … Hopefully this changes with the new generation when they become parents :)

    This is reminiscent of the Grimm's fairy tale, 'The Good Bargain,' where the suitors try to make the King's daughter laugh and one finally wins a big reward. Changing sexual preferences, however, appears to be more unachievable than getting a laugh.
