Justin Timberlake Wants To Play An Alcoholic Food Critic In His Next Movie

| Filed under: Justin TimberlakeFilm FlickersAmy Adams

It sounds like the more successful Justin Timberlake is as an actor, the less likely he is to ever return to our favorite part about him — his music!

Ugh! It's a bittersweet symphony because we wish him all the success in the world (which he totally already has) and we also love seeing him on the big screen.

Speaking of which, he's reportedly after a major role in a dramedy called The Last Drop.

If the producers want him to climb aboard, JT will be playing a charming alcoholic food critic living in New York City who must overcome his addiction to get the girl of his dreams.

He's earning rave reviews for his performance opposite Amy Adams and Clint Eastwood in Trouble With The Curve, so why wouldn't he get this role?

We think he's proved his acting capabilities at this point because even the Coen Brothers hired him to star in their next movie!

Give the guy what he wants. He's earned it.

He's not really much of an actor. He needs to "refresh" his brand by going back to his music and touring. I saw the movie with Mila Kunis and the Sscience fiction thriller about time with Amanda Seyfried. Awful. They could have been good movies except for him. He was decent in Social Network because he was pretty much playing himself. Not a fan of his acting, he needs to go back to music. We have enough junk movies out here without him adding to the garbage pile.

Another bomb no one will pay to see.
