No Doubt's Push & Shove Chart Debut Falls Behind Mumford & Sons' Babel

| Filed under: Gwen StefaniMusic MinuteNo DoubtMumford & Sons

no doubt push and shove album chart debut london 2012

Guess they should have had some doubt after all! Ha.. Ha… Ha…

JK! No Doubt is expected to sell 120-125k in Push and Shove's first-week sales. That's pretty good, pretty good.

But looks like Mumford & Sons' Babel is boasting between 575-625k. And they haven't had eleven years of anticipation on their side like Gwen Stefani and the boys do. So their lead is impressive!

No Doubt shouldn't fret, though. They're still succeeding and making tons of fans (including us) verrry happy about their return!

How ridiculous; 40 year old washed-up has-beens trying to pretend they are HIP & COOL for the 8 to 12 year olds music buying market….

No Doubt is great - they are super talented. Mumford & Sons? Ehhh..not really.

It's just how it is going. Mumford and Sons will be forgotten in a few months… it is just how it goes.

The No Doubt cd is a complete let down. I don't know if they got nervous or the record company talked them into their latest "Sound". Whatever the case it sucks. Settle Down is the only decent song on the cd and maybe one other about her being "Hot". These were the only songs that were decent.

Mumford have been selling non stop with sigh no more for past few years. They are a huge force in music without even trying. These gigantic sales are no surprise and this album like their last will have tremendous longevity for sure. They dont even need hits. No doubt are living on past glory. They cant compete these days. Gwen needs to go solo again while she's still under 45.

Re: blondly7 – their last album has been hanging round top of the charts for over 2 years and is even back in itunes top 5 alongside their new album. Youre an idiot if you think they will vanish anytime soon. Their albums have great longevity.

This bitch cares more about her image than her music. SAD for a woman in her mid 40's

this new No Doubt album is really bad. I liked their old stuff, but this new "music" is pretty crappy.

How can you say that "Mumford and Sons are not talented?" They are far more talented than you realize! I've been listening to their music for over 2 years now and have seen them live twice! I'm not saying No Doubt isn't talented because they are. Mumford and Sons have so much passion for what they do! Their lyrics speak to so many people! Plus, they are great musicians! If you've never seen them live, I recommend it!! They walk up on stage to sing and play their instruments and that's just what they do, they play their hearts out! They write all of their songs and only write songs that they know they will sing passionately every night! They believe in their sons!! Mumford and Sons will
NOT be forgotten, not when you have fans like theirs, trust me! Mumford and Sons are amazing! Thanks to Marcus, Winnie, Ben and Ted for amazing music! It means so much to me!! :)

I think you got it mixed up. The No Doubt album will be forgotten in a few months.
