That's BOLD, guuuurl!
As you may recall, the rapper is in trouble for their "domestic dispute" that took place three years ago, aaand — since an El Lay Judge revealed the rapper tested positive for pot on a random drug test he was given while partaking in community service in his home state of Virginia — he could be facing charges for that too!
Now, more than ever, RiRi is worried about Breezy's fate!
"Rihanna has spoken to Chris since his progress reporting hearing on Monday afternoon and offered her continued support. Rihanna told Chris she would go to court on November 1 for his court appearance and tell Judge Patricia Schnegg that she shouldn't set a hearing to decide if he violated terms of his probation because he has accepted responsibility for his actions and has apologized to RiRi on multiple occasions."
She wants the judge to forget about his fling with Mary Jane AND the infamous actions that landed him in probation!
Our source explains:
"Rihanna would also tell the judge that Chris isn't the same person now, as he was on that fateful night when he assaulted her. Rihanna doesn't care if she is criticized for standing by Chris, she genuinely loves him."
While that's a really kind sentiment — we're not sure how the pop star's testimony will help.
After all, Chris broke the law and has been charged for his crime. Just because he's sorry doesn't mean he shouldn't have to pay for what he did!
We understand praying for the guy, but actually defending his actions could be taking it a little too far!
The judge has scheduled a November 1 hearing to discuss Chris' pot punishment.
We'll see if Rihanna shows up physically, or in spirit like last time!
