Thor Star Nearly Paralyzed After 'Horrible Injury' On Set!

Jaimie Alexander was hurt very badly in London earlier this week while filming Thor: The Dark World!
The actress who plays Asgardian Warrior Lady Sif was, according to her Twitter feed, very nearly paralyzed after an injury we assume she sustained during a stunt sequence gone horribly wrong!
Today I sustained a pretty horrible injury. I'm lucky I'm not paralyzed. Thank you (with all of my heart) to those who've looked after me.

Jaimie is recovering in a hospital bed now on a lot meds but she promises she'll be back alongside Chris Hemsworth fighting evil in no time!
We love our summer blockbusters but sometimes we forget how dangerous those massive stunts are for the actors!
Thank God Odin she's okay!!
