Les Misérables Behind The Scenes Treats! WATCH HERE!!

| Filed under: Broadway BabiesFilm FlickersAnne HathawayHugh JackmanRussell CroweAmanda Seyfried

There's no denying it! Tom Hooper's film adaptation of Broadway classic Les Misérables is going to be one EPIC visual and aural masterpiece!

We've already gotten a sneaky, behind-the-scenes peek at the flick which stars Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Russell Crowe AND Hugh Jackman, and now we get to delve even further into the intense filming process in this Les Mis news package (above)!

Process for a minute the fact that all the actors had to sing LIVE on set. That's take after take of BELTING out operatic, emotional tunes while simultaneously trying to embody a character!

MAD respect.

We are exploding like so many Bastille Day fireworks with heated anticipation to see the film, which premieres Christmas Day!

AND, if Les Misérables is successful, Miss Saigon will be the next famed musical to get an infusion of movie magic!

Great clip, but noticed they were using the Patti Lupone version of "I dreamed a dream" in the beginning. They ended with Anne. Had no idea her Mom did the show. Very cool. I am so excited for this!!!

Sorry do not care for musicals, last two I saw were Evita and the one with Nicole Kidman. I liked the dramatic version that came out awhile back much better.

I Like Anne but I hate her in this. She is no Patti Lupone & her voice is grating & pitchy, More Amanda, less Hathaway.

I like the Broadway show too much to even see this. & Where as Hugh Jackman is musically talented, I have heard Russell & Anne & not impressed with either. I think people who are unfamiliar with this classic should see it but for those of us that know the classic, stay away. Stay far away,

What a bunch of haters. Anne Hathaway's singing voice is lovely and strong. She can belt ( just youtube her singing videos), but she wasn't going the Patti Lupone route. Besides, I hate most of the over-the-top Broadway singing. So, I am happy Anne choice to sing in a more real singing style.
