On the one hand, Bear Grylls is oh-so-manly — we'd love for him to teach us things in the wilderness that might put hair on our chest!

On the other hand, we have NO desire to wear a scarf we made from camel intestines! Ever!

The Man vs. Wild star is pulling asses off couches this November and offering his fans an opportunity to learn from the master — and we don't mean Philip Seymour Hoffman!

At Bear Grylls Survival Academy in Scotland, would-be outdoorsmen (and women!) spend a few days learning survival skills before suddenly being thrust into the wild for a 36 hour, no holds barred adventure!

And you get a cool commemorative knife, too!

All this for the modest price of £2,999 — which we think converts to like $28 dollars, LOLz!!

For those of you on a No-Fly List, Bear will open additional academies in South Africa and the U.S. in 2013!
