GLEE First Listen! Darren Criss Revisits The END Of Teenage Dream! And The Rest Of The Heart-Shattering Tunes From The Break-Up!
Get out your kleenex, Gleeks!
This is going to be one rough week — for US just as much as you!
That's right, because in the world of Glee, it looks as though there are going to be some SERIOUS relationship troubles for Rachel and Finn, Kurt and Blaine, Santana and Brittany, and Will and Emma…and as we all know, at LEAST one of these pairings will not make it to the end of this week's episode, The Break-Up!
And now, we've gotten a hold of all of the INCREDIBLE tune-age our star-crossed lovers will be wailing together and at one another, which is only furthering our heartbreak over the potential end to some our favorite TV couples!
Most upsetting of all is EASILY Darren Criss' re-visitation of the song that catapulted him into the hearts of Gleeks worldwide, Teenage Dream, only instead this time it's stripped down, acoustic, and positively gut-wrenching…which only furthers our fear that the days of Klaine are coming to an abrupt, brutal end!
Give it a listen (above)!
Agh! The pain in his voice is almost too much for us to bear!
Ch-ch-check out Naya Rivera's glorious return to McKinley High with Mine, Darren and Cory Monteith Barely Breathing, only to be joined later by Lea Michele and Chris Colfer for Don't Speak, while the former duets with Dean Geyer for Give Your Heart a Break, and lastly, all of the aforementioned couples with Matthew Morrison and Jayma Mays belt out The Scientist…AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Now excuse us. We need to go shamelessly weep into our pillow while we play these over and over!

That ensemble singing of Don't Speak was incredible. Lea Michelle is such an amazing vocalist!
Darren Criss again bla bla, so sick of him already!!!
Darren Criss voice in exquisite. He is really the only reason to watch this show now.
But Ryan Murphy just said in an interview that Klaine for eternity..so from that it really seems like he's not planning on breaking them up.
Yay! They covered Demi for the first time ever!
Sounds good.
*sigh*… im so glad i like this season so far… i was a little worried..
Liked it until the end where they had to give Lea her big Aguilera moment. Some songs DO NOT lend themselves to that and this is one of them. We know she can belt. It doesn't have to happen EVERY TIME SHE SINGS.
Re: Linestra –
I meant that as a comment on 'The Scientist'… but it works for the No Doubt song too.
Re: kayleigh – They will…but they'll get back together!
actually cant stand lea michele
dont see the big fuss about her…. DARREN i love!!!!! and chris, and mark, and heather, and naya, and everyone but her lol
If Brittana breaks up, I'm done with glee. Please keep them together.
Love Cory Monteith's voice; missed hearing hims so much and glad he is singing again. He has improved so much as a singer; hope he gets to sing more, maybe a few solos, too, RIB? Cory and Lea really do have undeniable vocal chemistry; their voices just mesh perfectly; this needs to be showcased more in Glee; hope there's more of Finn and Rachel duets to come.
Re: Nellie – I agree
Re: HFlackPrentiss – don't hate
Re: HFlackPrentiss – you can say whatever you want about Lea and her appearance, her acting, her fashion, etc….but you cannot deny that that girl is bursting with talent. her voice is exquisite. Lea Michele FOREVER. Her voice is so pure. But I agree that the other singers are amazing too. Not so keen on Heather though. She is a born dancer, but manufactured to sing for the show.
