If you're going to become a reality star, TLC may be one of the best employers around!
The Learning Channel appreciated Honey Boo Boo Child and the rest of her family appearing on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo so much, that they got a MAJOR raise after just the second episode.
America's new favorite fam was originally earning between $5,000-$7,000 an episode, but after the good people at TLC knew they had a monster hit on their hands, the Thompsons got a bump to between $15,000-$20,000 per ep!
Will that be enough to end Momma June's extreme couponing? Old habits die hard, so probably not.
Plus, she doesn't want the money and fame to change her family. While they are accepting some financial assistance from TLC, she turned down a free house!
That's not all. Agents are "swarming" to get a piece of the Honey Boo Boo pie, but June is turning them all away because she doesn't want money to influence her family's every decision.
It's not easy to say no to such easy money, so our hats are definitely off to this woman. With a second season on the way and America's obsession just beginning to flourish, we can't imagine that the Thompsons will be hurting for money any time soon.
