Tom Cruise Hated By Fellow Scientologists For Not Shunning Suri?

Team Tom is shrinking by the minute!!

After Katie Holmes ended her marriage to Tom Cruise, she and daughter Suri also ended their relationship with Scientology!

That should've been extra bad news for Tom, considering practicing members of his religion are SUPPOSED to shun anyone who leaves the fold.

As Scientology's most famous face, however, Tom follows a different set of rules!

Nancy Many, former president of the Scientology celebrity center, admitted:

"They have already bent the rules for Tom. If Tom was any other Scientologist, including lesser celebrities, he would not be allowed to continue seeing and maintaining communication with Katie or Suri, because they are no longer in Scientology."

We're happy this loving father hasn't abandoned his daughter but we wonder how other, stricter members of the religion feel about Tom's special privileges?

Nancy explained:

"So far, because of who he is, Cruise has spent time with Suri, which has already upset the parents and children of existing Scientologists who can’t talk to their loved ones. If he is supposed to be a Scientologist, why don’t the rules for every other member apply to him?"

Uh-oh! It sounds like the lower-ranking members are growing jealous of Tom's freedoms!

We hope Xenu and pals never ask Tom to choose between his faith and his kid — they might not like his decision!

    If Tom could leave the church now, I suspect he would. If he left the church now, it would be the best thing ever for his career. The public at large would embrace him again.

    I would love to see Tom leave the church and regain control of his own mind. But I am sure they have so much dirt on him, that he will continue to be their minion.

    This group advertises for members by putting the most famous in press packages and then removing their pics when they do something stupid.     In some photographs, she looks bigger than him

    No rules were bent for Cruise. His position within the cult is such that he does what he likes. If he wants to see his kid, he does it. And if some cultie has a problem with it, up goes the middle finger and a "You want to expel me, go ahead, make my day…"
