Little House On The Prairie Moving To The Big Screen?!

| Filed under: TV NewsFilm FlickersDancing With The Stars

Well hey y'all!

It seems that the 1970's television series Little House on the Prairie starring Dancing With The Stars contestant Melissa Gilbert as adorable Laura Ingalls, may be coming to a big screen near you!

OK well, not the series per say, but a film based on the semi-autobiographical books by Laura Ingalls Wilder, which follow the day to day lives of the Ingalls family in the 19th century American West!

Sony Pictures is considering making the beloved children's classics into a feature project written by Abi Morgan (Iron Lady), directed by David Gordon Green (The Sitter), which may include plot points from all 9 books in the series.

Sounds like some high falutin' fun to us!

Yeah, not sure if we should consider Walnut Grove, Minnesota as "west".

Leave it to you, Perez, to be a retard and present LHotP as a fucking western. Asshole. Instead of remaking things, Hollywood needs to get its creative juices flowing. And YOU, Mario, need to get a real job. You're clearly too fucking stupid to do even this shitty site.

    Per se.

Is it time to get an education yet, Perez?

OMG won't the Cheney women be over the moon. This will be more fun for them than an afternoon scrubbing the backs of soccer girls

Never saw the show, would love to see the movie if it has a good cast and is well done.
