You can dislike Obama as a politician all you want but, is it too much to ask to be just a little respectful about this event, republican commenters? I hate Romney with all my being but if his 40th wedding anniversary was during his campaign, I'd be happy for him and his wife and I'd wish them all the best. People who forget that there is a human being behind every public figure are such massive idiots. On this note, I wish the Obamas AND the Romneys a peaceful and successful campaign for the remaining weeks. And best wishes to Barack and Michelle on this special day. Peace.

It must be really nice to have a president who is getting some. I'm Canadian and our PM is so uptight you could stick a piece of coal up his butt and in 2 weeks you'd have a diamond. We do make the best diamonds but still!

Re: @v@ – Oh he is a snake. Over half of Canada, hate him as a person. It's not even the party that they dislike any more it's him all together. He is ruining everything that Canada is about, and at this point he's turning us into the US. No offence to the US citizens, you know you're political system is fucked, money = speech etc…etc… and we just don't want the same things to happen. Canada was 2nd in the world for science. Our PM now wants to cut pretty much all our science programs and Research and Development which we were again one of the top in the world. To do what? To spend billions on the military and prisons. We don't need the prisons ours are fine and we've had the lowest crime rate in 40 years and it keeps declining. Also we're peacekeepers. Yes it's good to have some money for the military but don't cut our R&D and world renown science programs for it. This is just a small portion of why the people of Canada now hate the PM as a person as well as the party.
