J.J. Abrams stopped by to chat with Conan O'Brien on his show last night and brought the first footage from Star Trek Into Darkness (above). The director described it as:
"A scene where Spock — for reasons that you'll have to see the film to understand — is in a volcano in this crazy suit."
He also mentions that the clip is only three frames long. While we thought that was just a funny quip, he wasn't lying about the length or Zachary Quinto's crazy suit.
