Are liberals playing dumb or just plain clueless?? Cutting funding to PBS is obviously not the answer to bring down the $6 trillion in debt Obama has amassed in barely 4 years-its part of the "solution". Combining the wasteful money being funneled to PBS (which could definitely succeed & currently thrives through fund raising & merchandize sales-just ask the CEO whose salary is in the 7 figures!!) with other wasteful programs is how President Romney plans to start making a dent on the debt. We finally have an adult speaking to us with facts and the truth-which to some is a bitter pill to swallow. Can't wait to Thursday night for the Ryan-Biden showdown. That one should be comedy gold!!

For f*ck's sake!! There are MORE IMPORTANT issues than the whole PBS thing. Maybe focus on those first. Douchebag.

Re: boston61 – Those who HAVE a good education are more likely to vote for romney, Those who THINK they have a good education might vote for obama. Those who think they are so much smarter than everyone else and that things are going great will vote for obama. Those who have common sense will vote for romney.

-23 million Americans out of work

Bravo Mr. President. Please leave now so that a REAL president, someone with actual business experience and an understanding of how business and the economy works can take over and clean up your mess. I don't want you to increase you to inflict anymore damage or increase my taxes by a further $4000 per year. Goodbye

  11. 11

Re: mileykind – it was the conservative mess to begin with. it's impossible for one man to fix an entire country in four years. if romney gets voted in, four years from now, you will be saying the same things about him

BYE BIG O .. SAD TO SEE YOU GO … AND DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU ON YOUR BLACK ASS ON THE WAY OUT…

    OBAMA , BIG=EARED DOO DOO BIRD !!! ROMNEY'S GUNNIN' FOR YOU , DOPEY …

Re: italiano89 – It's been FOUR years and obama hasn't told us what he's going to do to improve the situation. It's like we have to just trust that if we give him another four years things will magically just get better despite all the bad decisions he's making.
Think of it like this, we are a boss and have a big mess so we hire some one to come in and fix it. In this case it is Obama we give him time and come back and ask "What have YOU done to improve the problem" he answers back "Well the guy before me really messed everything up". Do you know what that is? An excuse. And in any other job you would get fired if that was your answer. We need solutions. I don't know how long other people can hold out before they finally admit this isn't working out, but I'm done waiting for "something to just work out".

Romney is the man and has been all along… people just didn't see it. The decision is clear. To pay down Obama's debt, Obama wants everyone to pay a higher tax: at least $4K. Would you rather write a cheque directly to the big government, or would you rather Romney's way of spending that $4k any way you want to stimulate the economy and create jobs? Obama doesn't understand business or the economy in general. He'd rather give the poor a handout than find them a job. Romney wants to empower people and give them jobs. People need to stop living in the past about crying about who created the debt, it's a question of who is most qualified moving forward. Romney has 25 years of business experience vs Obama's big fat zero. The decision is clear and simple

The same stupid F's who voted for Bush are voting for Romney.

  17. 17

Ugh, he was supposed to be all about change.

  18. 18

Re: boston61 – You are delusional if you think we should keep obama in another four years. GET REAL, and take some ownership for the current state of our economy. Obama is our Evita except less personable. See how well the Argentinian government did during that.

  19. 19

I love how everyone keeps talking about this Big bird crap. When he was just making an example on cutting unneeded crap. Funny enough most people haven't even acknowledged that obama got his ass kicked. Are they in denial, or do they have their heads so far up obamas ass they feel he can do no wrong..Or is this blatantly obvious attention diverter with this big bird crap really working.

Re: italiano89 – That excuse was valid the first half of his presidency. For someone who preached "change" every other sentence nothing was done. Democrats actually hand control towards the end of Bush's term. But now that excuse doesn't fly anymore. He said he would end the war, we're still over there. It doesn't take 4 years to go "you know what, this pointless war is costing us 10 billion a month, lets bring em home" nope.

  20. 20

Oh look, he can make comebacks now that he has a teleprompter and practiced his speech his team of writers wrote for him.

Re: NookiesWA – Thanks I agree with you, voting for Romney, Obama fooled me last election (but let's face it McCain was a terrible choice - real hothead).

As far as PBS, I read on another site they only get 19% or something from the govenment, the rest is from their endless pledge drives and membership, and lots of marketing of stuff like Muppets, etc. They can do nicely without the funding which as far as I am concerned is a distraction. If this is the best the Dems can counter with they are surely doomed.

  23. 23

Woe to us all if Obama is re-elected. This election is a turning point for our country. Four more years of handouts and enrolling people on welfare and government programs will keep the Dems in office because they'll have the majority vote from here on out. At what cost? Our current lifestyles. How many years do you think the minority can pay the way for the majority? With his amnesty for illegals and open borders ideas we haven't seen even the first wave of impoverished, uneducated immigrants hitting our shores. ARE YOU OBAMA SUPPORTERS READY TO SUPPORT ALL OF THEM AND DOWNGRADE YOUR OWN LIVES AND WALLETS TO DO SO? Think about your children.

    24

yea everyone wants to still blame bush for everything? well bill clinton is the one who signed the "Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000" LOOK IT UP. he made the recession possible. stop blaming bush for obama's poor performance, esp when he has made everything worse then better. he had his go obama is DONE.

  25. 25

Re: Cantwait – What you don't realize is that as President,it is Obama's job to lead. Reagan(R) had to work with Tip O'Neil(D) and Clinton(D) had to work with Newt Gingrich(R). Obama has meet with the Republican congress 2 times since he took office. 2 TIMES! The failure is on Obama!

Let's see….Sesame Street makes 400 MILLION dollars a year and we the tax payers are subsidizing them? Do you understand that??? We are borrowing money from China to line Sesame Streets pockets even more and you think that is OK?????

Obama is talking about stupid shit like this because he knows he can trick stupid Americans into voting for him again.

He needs to go. Only an idiot would vote for this clown again.
