Since Danny and Arnold are the best of friends as I remember. The the two of them can hang out together and pick up women for one night stands. I just don't think that people are meant to be together forever. I say this as a person married for over 27 years. It's very, very difficult to put up with the same person for years on end. You get sick of each other and you definitely change as you age.

Re: krtmom – Sorry I disagree, I was happily married for almost 33 years until my husband suddenly passed away on New Years Day.

I am very sorry to hear this news, between the time of their meeting and the years of their marriage that is 41 years. Hope they are able to reconcile.

Very sad to hear…..I love them both in Matilda together. She's a pistol and he's so funny…. I wish them well and hope that they find their way back to happiness with each other. Getting divorced doesn't solve personal or relationship problems. They will follow you to each encounter. Thirty years is a long time to be a couple. Singles can look for the right relationship or dating advice at
