Ooo we can't wait to see these lovely ladies getting all psychotic on us in the upcoming Alfred Hitchcock biopic, Hitchcock!
Hitchcock follows the grandaddy of suspenseful horror during the production of his iconic masterpiece Psycho; Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel portray Janet Leigh and Vera Miles, Psycho's two leading ladies.
And according to Hitchcock's director Sacha Gervasi, Mz. Johansson perfectly embodied the spirit of Janet Leigh!
"When we took that still of Scarlett behind the wheel and put it up against the still of Janet behind the wheel in Psycho, it was eerie. The extent to which Scarlett was able to channel Janet [was] a real surprise. She brought it in such a way that no one really anticipated."
When it came to Biel's character, however, it seems Hitchcock's crew had just as hard a time making Biel look frazzled and unkempt, as Alfred H. did for Vera Miles!
The director reveals:
"Hitchcock dressed her up in a wig and did everything they could to make the beautiful Vera Miles look frumpy. What Hitch tried to do to Vera we tried to do to Jessica, and the results were equally ridiculous. It is not possible to make Jessica Biel dowdy."
We can just imagine Anthony Hopkins as the legendary director mussing about the beautiful Jessica Biel, trying to frump her the flip out!
We are insanely excited for Hitchcock, which smashes into theaters Nov. 23!
Ch-ch-check out a brand new Hitchcock still of ScarJo effortlessly channeling Janet Leigh (below)!
